I'm A Borat....You Like?

Sacha Baron Cohen has made quit a name for himself. The man who has created hip hop wanna be Ali G with hilarious interviews with well known stars. Now as Kazakh journalist Borat. A guy that's naive and obnoxious but doesn't know it. I've never seen the Ali G movie but according to The D (who's still M.I.A.) it wasn't that great. Now Borat has reached cult stat now so no surprise he came out with a film also. This is a mockumentary about Borat and his assistant Azamat trying to make a documentary about learning the ways of the American life in order to improve their nation of Kazakhstan. Also you find out more about his family and the village from where he's from. This is one...hilarious flick. Try not to think of it as one long episode of Borat. It's like what i said, a mockumentary. Borat is as funny as he every was. Even funnier i think in this film. Naive and obnoxious what's there not to like about Borat. Actually there were a few things that kind of disturbed me. There were some anti-semitism and racial jokes about gypsies. Now i'm not a jew and neither is Mel Gibson (ha ha get it!) but i found it a little funny but offensive as well and by the way isn't Sacha Cohen Jewish? Meh whatever make him happy. Other than that great jokes by the Borat. Basically the humor is what you expect from Borat. And great performance by his sidekick by Ken Davitian. The two share my favorite scene but you must see the flick to know what i'm saying. It did seem that the movie was unscripted in most of the parts so to me it was hard to figure out which was scripted and which was not.
Well this is one short review not because it is a great flick but if i go into anymore details i will ruin the flick and i'm not the type to do that. Spoiler: (In Star Wars 3 Anakin Skywalker becomes Darth Vader.) Told ya.
Anywho if you're a fan of Borat i say go check this out. Even if you're not a Borat fan and just need a good laugh before the holidays roll in check it out. Funny characters, and a hilarious outcome = good times.
